CUSTOM MADE STAMPED MEDALS

Stamping is the process of stamping sheet metal such as brass or iron with a die. With a very powerful stamping press the mage is impressed into the metal sheet. A die struck stamped medal is considered the highest quality custom medal and is a heavier medal than a cast medallion.

Custom stamped medals can be personalized in design, shape, and color, with custom engravings and cut-outs to suit an event or organization. These medals are typically stamped in brass or precious metals, with diameters between 2″ and 3.5″. Miracle medals offer custom shapes, plating options, and up to four PMS soft enamel colors.

Die Struck medal or die stamp medals is the traditional production process of medal manufacturing.  It is often more time consuming but a more details quality medallions can be produced.   Die with the custom design is required to be produced and another tool is also required which will be used to punch out the shape of the Medal refer to our home page for more details.  These need to be manufactured first, before any medallions production can start.  The die is then use to strike the image of the custom design on a strip of metal material.   The custom design imprint on the strip of metal is then required to be punched out to custom shape dictated by the design.

These stamped medals are manufactured from iron with nickel or brass plated as standard. Antique brass, bronze and silver finishes are available on request.
